Bravium Anderson Valley Chardonnay The 2021 vintage of Anderson Valley chardonnay from Bravium is the new release of this cuvée, as it was held back by Derek Rohlffs for a couple of years of further aging in the cellars to allow it to fully blossom. The wine comes in nicely ripe at 14.2 percent octane and delivers a bright and complex aromatic constellation of apple, pear, almond, honeysuckle, a lovely base Mendocino soil tones and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is vibrant, focused and full- bodied, with a beautiful core of fruit, excellent soil undertow, zesty acids and lovely balance on the long and complex finish. This is drinking beautifully today.”
